Our environmental processes are handled with a life-cycle approach, and prevention of pollution for sustainable development and protection of the environment and natural resources have been determined as our main goal in all production activities carried out in our factory.

In all processes we carry out, international standards such as IFC and specific standards of our customers are taken into consideration, as well as local legislation, and we fulfill the requirements of all environmental and social conditions determined by these standards and support continuous development and the use of the best available technologies (BAT) to ensure their continuity.

Being one of the leading facilities of our country; our factory takes an active role in the projects and studies carried out by public and legal institutions related to compliance with the European Union legislation in the local and international context, and supports the processes related to the formation of these legislations.

Our facility, which prioritizes the evaluation of environmental impacts in its past and future investments, owns the "Environmental Permit and License Certificate" and "Environmental Management Unit" certificates obtained from the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. Our declaration and reporting obligations in environmental processes are carefully managed with the monitoring and implementation of legal processes by Environmental Engineers working in the Environmental Management Unit. Our facility also has ISO 14001 Environmental Management System certificate.

Our facility has "Environmental Impact Assessment" reports within the scope of local legislation and "Environmental and Social Impact Assessment" reports within the scope of international legislation and is monitored within this framework in all investments of our facility. Environmental and Social Management Plans for our investments have been prepared, taking into account both the national environmental legislation and the IFC Environmental, Social and Security Directives in our new investments. In addition, our facility has successfully completed the audits carried out by third party auditors in this context.

In the process of compliance with the European Green Deal (EGD), studies are carried out in all our business operations for waste reduction, efficient use of resources, recovery of chemicals and energy efficiency and energy recovery. In the projects conducted within this scope, 6 sigma, 5S and Kaizen and similar methodologies are applied.

Our factory develops the ISO 14064 Enterprise Level Greenhouse Gas Inventory, the calculation and reporting of greenhouse gases formed within the scope of the activities of our facilities, in accordance with the standard principles, and with this vision, it calculates the corporate carbon footprint and has it verified by an independent institution. In addition, LCA (life cycle analysis) is carried out for our products in line with the demands of our customers.
