Emissions Management

Emissions are monitored online at 5 of the emission sources in our facility, and Continuous Emissions Monitoring System (CEMS) is available at these points. Instant data transfer is provided to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization via CEMS regarding the emissions from these chimneys. In addition, air quality modeling for the emissions of our facility is performed and cumulative effects are taken into account, as well. Greenhouse gas emission calculations are made in the combustion of fuels and the production of large-volume organic chemicals, and thus emission control is ensured within the scope of the Regulation on the Monitoring of Greenhouse Gas Emissions.

Our prepared greenhouse gas emission report is approved by the TÜRKAK (Turkish Accreditation Agency) accredited verifiers and submitted to the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.

Our factory develops the ISO 14064 Enterprise Level Greenhouse Gas Inventory, the calculation and reporting of greenhouse gases formed within the scope of the activities of our facilities, in accordance with the standard principles, and with this vision, it calculates the corporate carbon footprint and has it verified by an independent institution. In addition, LCA (life cycle analysis) is carried out for our products in line with the demands of our customers.
