Social Responsibility

At SASA, we adopt an approach that prioritizes health and safety in our relations with the community and takes into account national and international standards. We work to provide better environmental, social and economic conditions for the local communities where our facilities operate and to take remedial actions by evaluating suggestions, requests and complaints.

SASA Memorial Forest

Within the scope of the protocol signed with the T.C General Directorate of Forestry;600,000 saplings were planted in the SASA Memorial Forest on a total of 500 hectares of land,200 hectares in Adana Aladağ District and 300 hectares in Osmaniye Kadirli district, together with SASA Employees and Forestry Operation employees for our forests damaged by fires. We continue our efforts to increase the forest existence and for a more livable world.

University Scholarship

Erdemoğlu Holding provides scholarship aid to the children of SASA employees studying at a university to provide professionals to society and to reduce the financial burden on the education of the children of its employees. Financial support has been provided to a total of 1043 students since 2016.

SASA in Education

Erdemoğlu Holding, which has made its name known to the world with SASA in the petrochemical sector and Dinarsu and Merinos brands in the carpet sector, laid the foundation of a Sports High School in the Akçabat district of Trabzon province. This facility includes a 4-storey high school with 16 classrooms, a 2-storey multi-purpose sports hall and a 5-storey student boarding house for 144 students.

SASA Mehmet Erdemoğlu Kreşi ve Gündüz Bakım Evi

With the SASA Mehmet Erdemoğlu Daycare Center, the foundations of which were laid in 2020, we aim to ensure that our employees can safely leave their children during working hours and to adaptchildren to formal education.

Day Care Centers Bahçeşehir and Haydaroğlu

Day Care Centers, which we started to work on in Adana - Seyhan, will be put into service in 2023.

SASA in Campus

As SASA, we stand by our university students with our support that increases exponentially every year. We are in constant contact with the career centers of our universities and publish job postings. We took part in the 2022 Management Studies with Executives Career Summit organized by Boğaziçi University - Engineering Club and the 2022 Fall Career Fair of Middle East Technical University (METU). We also share SASA's experience in the industry with as many university students as possible through technical trips and conferences.

ADASO Academic Studies

In 2023, we aim to start training activities with ADASO Academy, the Learning Platform of Adana Chamber of Industry.

Incubation Center

We established the Incubation Center library of the Adana Organized Industrial Zone Directorate and continue to contribute to the development of the industry by providing mentoring services.

Sarıhamzalı Funeral House

In 2022, all furniture placements of the condolence area were completed and put into operation.

Techno-city Collaboration

As members of the SASA Board of Directors, we held a cooperation meeting with Çukurova Techno-city.

+1 We stand by you

With the slogan "+1 We stand by you", we contribute to the education of people with Down Syndrome in cooperation with the Down Syndrome Association of Turkey.

İşkur Training Program

With our collaboration with İşkur, we provide 3-month trainings to candidates and then provide employment opportunities.

Pakistan Kindness Train

After the flood disaster in Pakistan, we donated 3000 food boxes and 100 tents to the kindness train carrying basic living supplies to the affected people.

Earthquake Mobilization

Our company mobilized its personnel, construction equipment and all its facilities to the earthquake zone for the earthquakes of magnitude 7.8 and 7.5 that occurred in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023 and February 7, 2023, respectively.
