We ratify and commit to all articles of the United Nations Global Compact, the European Convention on Human Rights, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the OECD General Principles for Multinational Enterprises, and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Declaration on Social Justice for Globalization.
In addition, as part of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), one of our main objectives is to fight against major problemssuch as poverty, hunger, gender inequality,climate crisis and discrimination.
As part of our Human Rights Policy, we fulfill our commitments on child labor, recruitment, working hours, rumuneration and wages, discrimination, freedom of association and collective labor agreement, prevention of harassment and maltreatment, bribery and corruption, forced and compulsory labor and training.
SASA carries out its management and activities on human rights in cooperation between the Sustainability Committee and the Human Resources Department. Accordingly, we regularly convene for the implementation of our Human Rights Policy, informing our employees and raising awareness within the company.
We care that all our stakeholders respect human rights and we reflect our values in our selection of suppliers and subcontractors. In addition to our employees, we expect our business partners and all ourstakeholdersto share and implement these values.
We regularly update our human rights trainings by taking into account the opinions of all our stakeholders and continue our efforts to further increase these trainings in the future. In this context, we provide human rights training to our newly recruited colleagues in addition to OHS training. In 2022, we provided human rights training to 646 employees.
Our aim is to ensure that all our employees are conscious and sensitive about human rights and to adopt these values at all levels of ourcompany.
