Our Sustainable Product Stewardship Studies

SASA has a strong technical infrastructure with its R&D Center established in 2002 and certified by the Ministry of Industry and Technology in 2018 along with its manufacturing experience and knowledge gained over fifty years.

SASA has high-tech polymer, fiber and yarn production facilities and laboratories performing chemical and physical analysis equipped with high-tech devices that serve these product ranges, R&D and P&D activities.

SASA has achieved many firsts in manufacturing with its strong corporate structure. SASA managed to obtain the patents being the first PET bottle & feeding bottle, first PET resin, first phthalate-free plasticizer, first colored fiber, first biodegradable polymer manufacturer and first PET bottle recycling facility in Turkey.

SASA has determined the fundamentals of its R&D Strategy as making a difference with innovative products, creating new markets, being the pioneer and leader in its sector and maintaining this situation. In line with our Sustainability Principles, our R&D and P&D team has created and continues to develop many innovative products that are included in a wide product segmentation that will be evaluated within the main product groups. We are using digital technologies as an effective tool to make our sustainable product management efficient. Thanks to the digitalization technologies we implement and develop, we achieve energy saving, optimize material consumption, and make improvements in the waste management, taking ever firmerstepstowards oursustainability goals. With our digitalization projects, we eliminate human errors, lower quality losses and maintain our business continuity. Also, we use Industry 4.0 technologies to automate our production processes, making them more effective and efficient.
